Why SEB English?

I received my TEFL certification TEFL, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, with a business focus. It is rare to find a certified trainer in Germany, and if one is so lucky to do so, then the certification is normally for TESL, Teaching English as a Second Language; this is a specialized training for teaching immigrants in English-speaking countries.

The majority of language schools unfortunately also employ trainers whose first language is not English. Of course they do not advertise this, and hopefully these trainers are only permitted to teach beginners.

A report by the German Stiftung Warentest (similar to Consumer Reports) from November 2007, presented the results of 14 larger, well-established language schools tested on "English courses for advanced students." The highest grade presented was 2.9 - satisfactory.

SEB English also distinguishes itself from the smaller providers by having what they often do not - good English skills.  One of the competitors,  for example, advertises on its main website with a large banner, "How do you do? / "How are you!" ( "How do you do" means "nice to meet you").
