I had been playing Hide & Seek Vocabulary with a 7

year old boy (close your eyes, and when you open them find the missing object from the table and ask for it).  His mother told me the next week that the boy had been playing basketball with his two older brothers.  The ball rolled away and the boy asked without hesitation, “Where is my ball?”  He didn’t even realize that he had asked in English.
